Life has been interesting for Carol, born in Canada, worked as a police officer for 14 years including 4 undercover, moved around the world to Australia, diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, represented Australia in Rowing and Cycling and then gone on to become a Gold Medal Paralympian and 5 times World Champion.
Dedicating her working life to raising awareness and funds for MS she has developed and still leads the operation of the 24 Hour Mega Swim event, which has raised millions for MS. Honoured with being named a ‘Member’ of the Order of Australia in 2014 for her service to sport and philanthropy.
